No-kill animal shelter and low-cost spay/neuter clinic, located in Tomball, Texas, in the greater Northwest Houston area.
We believe all pets deserve to be treated humanely.
Our mission is to end the unnecessary euthanasia of helpless animals and to place them in permanent homes for the duration of their lives. In addition we are here to properly educate about responsible pet ownership.

I am Beau a 2 year old male Persian.
I am am Chevy a 4 year old male Yellow lab.
I am Berkly a 10 month old male Rat terrier Jack Russle mix. I came to the shelter with an old injury to my leg. Xrays show that my leg was broke and it healed back the wrong way. My surgery is going to cost $1,300.00 If you would like to help with my cost please call or donate online.
Without the Communities Supportit would not be possible to help animals like Berkley. AAR does not have a Veterianarian on staff. AAR has found a few Veterianarians in the area that are willing to help shelter animals at a discount.

I had my surgery on 11-2-09 and it hurts a little, but I am recovering nicely in a foster home, My surgery ended up costing $611.00. Since AAR is an all-volunteer organization, adoption hours (and answering the phone) are subject to volunteer availability. You may drop in, or you may want to call first to confirm that the adoption center is staffed:

Drop Off: 6:45am to 7:00am
